These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrueBite Chews website, online store, content, products, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Throughout these Terms, "TrueBite Chews," "TrueBite," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of this store. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer the Services.

By visiting the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority where you live and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of information supplied to us, for keeping account credentials secure, and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Products and responsible use

TrueBite Chews products are intended for dogs unless the product page expressly states otherwise. They are not intended for human consumption. Always select a product appropriate for your dog's size, age, health, and chewing habits; supervise use; provide fresh water; and remove any product that becomes small enough to swallow or presents a choking, splintering, or obstruction risk.

Consult a veterinarian before introducing a new product if your dog has allergies, dietary restrictions, dental problems, medical conditions, or a history of aggressive chewing or swallowing objects. Information on the Services is general product information and is not veterinary or medical advice.

Our chews are natural products. Size, shape, weight, color, texture, and odor may vary. Product photographs are illustrative, and displays may not reproduce colors exactly. These natural variations do not, by themselves, constitute a defect.

3. Product information, availability, and corrections

We try to describe products, prices, availability, ingredients, dimensions, and other information accurately. Errors may occur. To the extent permitted by law, we may correct errors, update information, impose purchase limits, discontinue products, or cancel an affected order. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled item.

Products and offers are void where prohibited. We may limit sales by person, household, geographic region, channel, or jurisdiction when reasonably necessary.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to purchase. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse or cancel orders for suspected fraud, resale contrary to our policies, pricing or inventory errors, payment problems, legal restrictions, or other legitimate business reasons. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the order total, including applicable taxes, shipping, and other disclosed charges.

You represent that payment and billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. We may request additional verification before accepting or fulfilling an order.

5. Retail and business orders

Prices and terms displayed in the public online store apply to retail purchases unless expressly stated otherwise. Wholesale, retailer, distributor, custom, and other business-to-business transactions may require approval and are governed by a separate quotation, invoice, purchase order, catalog, or written agreement. If business terms conflict with these Terms, the specific written business terms control for that transaction.

6. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, damaged items, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Services and their text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, product names, designs, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to TrueBite Chews and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for lawful personal use. No content may be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, scraped, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

8. Reviews, feedback, and user content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the necessary rights and that the content is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person's rights. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and display that content in connection with our business and marketing, subject to applicable privacy law. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to monitor all content.

9. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services to violate law; infringe rights; submit false or misleading information; transmit malware; interfere with security or operation; collect information about others without authorization; impersonate another person; engage in fraud; or attempt unauthorized access, scraping, testing, or circumvention. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

10. Third-party services and links

The Services may rely on or link to Shopify, payment processors, carriers, social networks, analytics providers, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for third-party websites, content, availability, or acts outside our reasonable control.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that information may be processed by Shopify and other service providers as described there.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties or conditions not expressly stated by us. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement to the extent those warranties may lawfully be disclaimed. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that every product will be suitable for every dog. Nothing in these Terms excludes an express product promise or a warranty that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueBite Chews and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from the Services or products. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires a different remedy. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrueBite Chews and its affiliates, personnel, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

15. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier disruptions, disasters, labor disputes, epidemics, governmental action, utility or network failures, or supplier interruptions. This section does not remove rights that applicable law makes non-waivable.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory consumer laws of your residence apply. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in a court with lawful jurisdiction or limits non-waivable consumer rights.

17. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These Terms and the policies incorporated into them constitute the agreement governing retail use of the Services.
